Candle magic is one of the simplest forms of spell casting in which the caster decides on a goal, visualizes the end result and focuses intent or will to manifest that result. Typically a caster will write down their intent on a piece of paper the same colour as the candle and burn the paper in a fire safe bowl. The candle needs to be burned completely for the spell to be completed.

While less common compared to paraffin spell candles, beeswax candles are perfect for those who prefer natural materials for magickal workings. It has a light, pleasant scent of honey when burned, and it burns brighter and cleaner than the paraffin counterpart.

You may notice a frosty-looking coating on the outside of the candles after shipping or storage. Beeswax’s sensitivity to changing temperatures is responsible for beeswax “bloom." The whitish cast is nothing to worry about. To remove beeswax bloom, warm the candles with a quick blast of warm (not hot) air from a hairdryer, then lightly buff with a soft cloth.
